Those who are looking forward to the Design and Development track at this year’s GameDaily Connect USA are going to be pleased that the event will be playing host to Raph Koster, industry veteran and recognized as an Online Game Legend at GDC. Koster will be attending and speaking on his specialty: online words in games and consistent engagement.
The Indie Prize is an effort to recognize the passionate and outstanding work of indie developers, whether they are developing titles for the growing mobile market, or working with emerging technologies like VR. We’re looking forward to introducing the Indie Prize finalists from Asia.
GameDaily Connect’s inaugural event will run from August 27 to 29 at the Disneyland Hotel. With a number of esteemed speakers in attendance, the Business of Games track in particular will feature insights from the likes of Niantic, Skydance, and Playtech.
GameDaily Connect USA’s Industry Insights track will feature Aaron Loeb, the current President of FoxNext Games. You won’t want to miss his panel on Hollywood corporations and how to maintain a thriving games studio in that particular environment.
